Quick Update

Hi Everyone:

I only have time for a very quick update. Jeff got out of the hospital today. He's doing very well. In fact, I think he's doing better than he's ever done on his first day out. I, on the other hand, have been completely exhausted and sick for the past two days. I fly back to Milwaukee tomorrow and I honestly don't know how I'll ever make it through work on Friday. Also, Jack has pneumonia. So, when it rains it pours!

I'll continue to keep everyone updated from Milwaukee. It appears that Jeff will have a much easier recovery period this time around. We'll have to wait and see I guess.

Someone is waiting to use the computer, so I'm sorry I have to keep this so short! I'll try to write more later after I'm home. Until then, thanks again for all your prayers and concern. It has been such a comfort to all of us!

Kelly

Kelly, sorry to hear you're under the weather, and that Jack is sick on top of it. I hope the others escape the colds. You will be glad to deliver this baby I am sure! On the bright side, excellent news that Jeff's taking this round so well. I seem to remember you saying that as treatment goes on, Jeff's body will tolerate it better and better. I dropped you an email about when you will be in Milwaukee next. I am planning trips to Chicago and want to swing up and say hi...Get well!!
Love, K

Hi Jeff and Kelly,
Kelly, your updates are so thorough. Thank you for that. I just want you to know that every day I have five classes of high school students praying for all of you. Of course my family and friends are also praying. Prayer is powerful. Keep your chins up!

Jeff, I'm glad you're having an easier time with this round of Chemo. I still can't even imagine what you're going through. How can anyone have an EASY time with chemo? I hope you get to feeling better soon. I also hope Jack gets over pneumonia. And it's understandable that you (Kelly) aren't feeling well either. Stress takes it's toll one way or the other. I just pray for your whole family to get well. Love, Mom (Myrna)

Way to go, Jeff. You're doing so well. And half-way through treatments now!! Rest, rest, rest - both your body and mind - it's so important. Kelly, sorry to hear you're sick. Soon you will feel better. I hope you're able to sleep well and rest, too. Our prayers for little Jack as well. In time you'll all be feeling much better, "please God", (as Mrs. Gardiner would say!) Our love and prayers, Meaghen & Brendan & girls.
